As a wedding planner I'm one of the lucky few who gets to work in a profession that allows me to combine my passion and strengths. Painting a picture that meets the vision that my clients have for their special day, by combining my professional experience with their life experiences leaves me deeply satisfied.
I bring to the table my experience from working with hospitality and entertainment brands like Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces, Grand Hyatt Mumbai and Percept Sports and Entertainment. As an experienced industry professional, I am connected to various partners within the industry, who I work with to create celebrations, across destinations, that are both beautiful and memorable.

As a groom-to-be I entered our wedding preparations with anxiety and nerves. The thought of planning a destination wedding for somany guests from all over the world was nothing short of daunting. The important task at hand was to get a planner on board who would ease us into the process and relieve some of that pressure. So a few months before our wedding we decided to bring Palkan Badlani on-board for the ride. She came very highly recommended and we were pleasantly surprised at how efficient, prepared and confident she was in handling all aspects of the wedding. Right from designing our invitations, dealing with the resort staff to creating our decor and organizing the entire event flow, she covered all bases and surpassed our expectations. She is not only a planner, but becomes part of the family as you find yourself entrusting her with anything and all that you need. Our wedding was not only beautifully arranged and organised, but our guests left feeling extremely well taken care of and in awe of the creativity and detail that had gone into the implementation. Palkan, along with her brilliant team, always seemed to be in complete control of the wedding operations. In any destination wedding you can expect half a dozen things to go wrong and a few unhappy guests to deal with. I can say with confidence that every need was met and the functions ran smoothly and without problems. Even when unforeseeable requirements arose, they were dealt with swiftly, with almost no involvement from either of the wedding families. Palkan's attention to detail is flawless and second to none. She is a perfectionist by nature and feels very passionately about her role as a wedding planner. She left no stone unturned, and went above and beyond to make sure that things got done. In the end, we passed on her contact details to almost all our attendees who were thoroughly impressed by her creativeness and execution. We were able to sit back and enjoy the months leading up to our wedding knowing that everything was in Palkan's capable hands!
At any wedding the Groom is the most relaxed since he doesn't have to take care of any of the wedding prep. It's usually the brides dream wedding! But.... I am not one of those grooms... There was so much going on in my head on how I wanted the perfect party's for my celebrations and I needed someone who could bring all my thoughts to life! That's when I met Palkan, Saviour should I say! Palkan was able to understand every little requirement right down to the very last detail. Not only was she able understand my raw ideas - she was able to visualize and made it even better with her creative edge and ensured to make each celebration a memorable one. There aren't enough words of appreciation I could shower on Palkan and her team on how awesome they were in managing everything from the Hotel, the staff, the food, the decor and above them all the Wedding Couple!! Thank you very much Palkan and team!! You'll are undeniably Awesome!!
All one can ask for from a wedding planner is to be everything, from a friend, to the voice of reason, to the person who handles the parents and the one who basically takes control of everything, so you can breathe on your wedding day! Palkan was all of that and more!! I had a crazy wedding spanning over multiple days, with friends flying in from every corner of the world, and Palkan was like a special energy that just flew in and took control of all of it! She had become such a big part of our family by then, and really was the wedding planner as we imagine them in the movies! She created the most beautiful wedding for us, while still helping me be realistic. Every time I was ready to freak out, Palkan's 'don't worry I've got this' is all I needed to hear! She made our wedding so special, and I cannot imagine having had such a blast at my own wedding if it wasn't for her!
Beautifully; mysteriously organised. I met Palkan at my best friends wedding. The first time I met her; I couldn't believe she was the wedding planner. In my mind; wedding planners are either monsters who make things happen around them on a whip or are people who seem constantly busy and in the middle of something important while the family enjoys. Palkan seemed neither. She fit in beautifully as a friend at the wedding. Things would just seamlessly orchestrate around us; exactly how they were supposed to be. Beautifully packaged favours; music performers on cue; brides crew tee shirts; authentic meals; guiding the group; all of this just happened. And every time we turned around; there was Palkan; enjoying the function with us. Using her mysterious magic wand and making things happen. No panic. All joy. Her energy is friendly and her work is immaculate. I'm convinced there's magic involved; somewhere.
To both Rohan, me and our families it was most important to work with someone who we felt comfortable with and with Palkan one is assured to feel right at home instantly. She is extremely receptive and patient with everyone's demands and needs and works around the clock to ensure that things go the way one wishes them to be. She is excellent at the decor bit as well and it's great to have someone who can handle every aspect. No matter the heat of the hour, Palkan always maintains her cool (something we all need to learn). Thank you Palkan for giving us our best memories and making sure all went according to our vision
